Once your logo is created, you are branded through your identity package, your marketing and advertising have been decided, you then need a brochure designed. This can be both in pdf form for your website or eblasts and also you need brochures printed. Actual brochures to hand to hot leads either through the mail or at your storefront is a good idea. Do not rely only on a pdf you email to your clients. It’s great if they view it on their computers, tablets, or phones, but if they print it….you are at the mercy of their $40 inkjet printer. I don’t suggest that. Especially if it’s food or cosmetics. Color is achieved by RGB screen quality or CMYK, printed pieces. Brochures do not need to be expensive to work. I may suggest a trifold which is either an 11 x 8.5 letter size folded in 3 panels. Those panels fold down to 4″x 8.5″ panels which is the size of a regular, #10 envelope. Write a letter, put in your business card and your trifold which has basic information and pictures of your products all for the price of a stamp. Or let’s design a 14″ x 8.5″ legal size which is a 4-panel brochure. Same folded size. These are cheap to design and print on a digital printer I can find online for you. Did, done! Or there is a more sophisticated brochure I can design with multiple pages, saddle stitch. It can go into a presentation folder and be mailed or handed out. Programs are needed for concerts, plays, and entertainment. I have many years of experience in program and magazine design. Just added is my recent work with Cal State University at San Bernardino Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Here are some samples of all the above.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (Olli) was a love project that was quarterly, Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer, all color coded with similar templated looks.

Advertising for this program had to be creative in that there was no budget. I made a deal with the publisher to pay for half a page and get a free editorial. Negotiate with publishers. They will always cut you a deal.
